In 77-Bit, loot comes from defeating enemies, completing quests, or opening boxes like Cartridges. This loot can include currency, consumables, upgrade materials, equipment, and more... everything you’ll need to grow stronger or trade in the marketplace.
Progress Through Loot
Loot will help you progress in the game and actually allow you to buy something from the stores. While you can gather loot by defeating enemies, it’s far more efficient to complete quests, since better items are stored in quest rewards. Progressing through story or dungeon quests offers some of the best loot in the game, making them worth your time.
Understanding the Inventory
Your Inventory is organized into distinct categories, making it easier to find what you need:
Equipment: Weapons, Cyberskins, Modules, and Coils—items you must equip for their benefits.
Consumables: Single-use or multi-charge items that restore health, resources, or provide temporary buffs.
Loot boxes: Locked containers that may require decryption or opening (e.g., Cartridges).
Resources: Crafting materials, currencies, or other supplies needed for upgrades.
Quest Items: Special objects related to missions; they can’t usually be sold or destroyed.
Special Equipment Items like Cyberskins, Modules and Coils grant your characters effects.
You can only equip one piece of equipment per slot at a time. If you find something stronger, replace your current piece to maximize stats. Equipped items appear in your character’s Equipment Tab, so keep an eye out for icon indicators showing what’s actively in use.
