In 77-Bit, combat revolves around using a combination of basic attacks and more advanced skills to overcome enemies efficiently. Understanding how each works will help you adapt to different situations and playstyles.
Attacks are your character’s fundamental offensive actions, determined by the weapon you have equipped. While you can fight barehanded, wielding a proper weapon increases your damage, range, and overall effectiveness.
How to Attack:
LMB (Left Mouse Button): Perform a regular attack.
RMB (Right Mouse Button): Perform a strong attack. Holding RMB charges the attack, increasing its damage but leaving you temporarily vulnerable.
Attacks vary based on the equipped weapon’s type, affecting their speed, reach, and damage profile. All attacks scale with both Pixel and Power, ensuring they remain useful regardless of your chosen class.
Skills are advanced abilities with longer cooldowns and additional strategic value. They can apply status effects, hit multiple targets, or provide defensive benefits. Some skills require specific resources to activate, adding an extra layer of decision-making to combat.
Skills aren’t tied to your weapons; instead, you acquire them from a skill tree as you level up. Gaining a level grants you skill points, which you can invest in new abilities. Be mindful—choosing one skill in a branch may lock other options in that path, so pick wisely.
Once unlocked, skills are automatically added to your ability hotbar and assigned a hotkey. The skill’s icon indicates which key to press, making it easy to integrate new abilities into your rotation.
By mastering both attacks and skills, you’ll be well-prepared to zioum monsters and adapt to the challenges the world of 77-Bit presents.
