Stats are numerical representations of your character’s power in 77-Bit. They come in two main types:
Primary Stats: These directly influence one or more secondary stats. For example, Vitality affects Health, meaning every time your Vitality increases, your total Health goes up as well.
Secondary Stats: These are derived from one or more primary stats (e.g., Health is derived from Vitality). They often dictate specific combat attributes, like damage, defense, or crit chance.
You can view all available stats and how they influence each other in the Character tab.
Sources of Stats
Natural Growth: You gain base stats automatically each time you level up. The exact amount and type of growth depend on your class and its progression system.
Passive skills: Some skill tree nodes grant bonus stats. Investing skill points in these passives can significantly enhance your character’s strengths.
Equipment: Weapons, armor, and accessories often provide stat boosts. Higher-tier gear may grant larger bonuses or special effects that further modify your stats.
Buffs & Debuffs: Potions, party buffs, or enemy debuffs can temporarily raise or lower your stats during combat. Pay attention to these effects when planning your strategy.
Stat Interactions & Scaling
Damage & Crit: Stats don’t just affect survival or defense, they also impact your damage output and critical chance/critical damage. Some abilities might scale with Pixel Power, others with Physical Power, or even both.
Defense & Evasion: Dodge chance, resistances, and various defensive modifiers can help reduce or negate incoming damage, letting you survive tougher fights.
Other Effects: Certain stats might influence resource regeneration, movement speed, or healing potency, depending on your class and equipment.
Simply put, increasing your stats is key to tackling harder enemies and exploring more dangerous areas. By balancing the right mix of primary and secondary stats, you’ll not only boost your survivability but also enhance your offensive capabilities, ensuring you’re always ready for the next big challenge.
