Progression & Levels

In 77-Bit, your journey is a never-ending loop of exploration, combat, and growth. Everything you do, from defeating enemies to chatting with NPCs, feeds back into this loop, gradually taking you from novice adventurer to badass hero.

Earning XP

You earn experience points (XP) by defeating monsters and completing quests. Each level demands a set amount of XP, increasing as you climb higher.

Leveling Up

When you reach the required XP, you’ll level up automatically:

  • Stat Points: Based on your class, key stats increase automatically.

  • Skill Point: You get one skill point to allocate in your skill tree.

Skill Trees

Skills are unlocked and upgraded via the skill tree. Some branches lock you into a path, so choose carefully. If you want a fresh start, you can reset your skill tree to redistribute points. For more on using skills, see .

Rinse & Repeat

After leveling, jump back into exploration and combat to keep gaining XP. This loop continues, letting you evolve your character, face more formidable enemies, and dive into increasingly challenging content.
